YWAM - Australia Reef to Outback

In an exciting and solemn hour, Mike Murray - front man for Five Star Streets - hosted an intimate release of the band's latest album, Let Justice Sing.

The album, a passionate mix of experience and emotion put into song, captured the hearts of around 50 people who gathered to listen. The music's message is one of justice and redemption in the midst of the some very intense realities, which many of the listeners had encountered first hand on outreach in places like Thailand, Bali and Papua New Guinea.

It was a holy moment as those in attendance remembered the capacity that music has to influence and bring change and a hope rose in hearts. A spontaneous prayer emerged from the crowd for the many young people who will be affected and the women and children whose stories are told through song - a hope that maybe justice will have a voice.

Production of the album has been a story of joy and challenges for Mike and band members BJ Magee and Luke Haythorpe. The night was one of celebration as they - and many who helped - were congratulated on the wonderful success. Behind the scenes footage of the project and title track "Let Justice Sing" can be seen and heard at www.fivestarstreets.com.

The official release and subsequent tour through Australia, America and New Zeland will be held later this year.
