“I’m married with a little girl. My husband doesn’t like that I’m a prostitute, but if I don’t sell myself, we won’t be able to afford the food we need to survive.”
This was the cry recently heard by the
YWAM Reef to Outback outreach team in Bali. The most shocking thing of all? Sex with this woman will cost only around $2 AUD.
The sex industry around the world is being fed by hungry appetites at the cost of many women and children. In Bali, the situation i…

YWAM Reef to Outback's January DTS outreach team to Bali has found themselves in a tiny village outside a city called Singaraja in Northern Bali. They are staying at an orphanage of about 30 children that’s being operated by YWAMers. At first glance, the team believed that these kids were absolutely normal, healthy and fulfilled and they are, but actually, almost all of them had come from an incredibly c…

Question: What happens when you combine 8 DTS students and their staff with three 4WDs full of International Performers!?
Answer: The most awesome Tour ever!
That's right, many of our YWAM Reef to Outback staff, students and friends have embarked on an incredible journey to bring hope to the Indigenous Australians in the North of our nation. There are some amazing stories so far!

Hi Everyone!
Outreach is going FANTASTIC! The team is in great spirits and I’m so encouraged and amazed by the unity that we are seeing among the team. Everyone is going full on for what God has for Coen and for their lives.
Coen is an amazing place. Our contacts, Graeme and Charmaine, are so great. You can tell they have been praying for Coen for a long time and are starting to see the fruit of their prayer. It has been a privileged to just come and join in with what God is doing. They have a…

Can I just say that any trip that starts with Camambret cheese reduced from $9 to $2 has to be a good one!?
Last weekend we loaded up to meet the DTS camping. We took our friends Buddy and Jennifer along for the adventure. Jennifer is a great bargain shopper and we stopped at the grocery store to pick up food and she found us some good deals. (I know its not cheese curds for all you Wisconsinites, but yeah for cheap and yummy cheese!)
I love getting to go spend time wi

Well, with 15 hours of time in the Townsville airport over the past few days, we've definitely had a lot of goodbyes to say.
After just over 5 months, the April DTS has officially come to an end. We had a great graduation, a memorable BBQ at our house with all the students, and lots of fun adventures over the weekend between airport dropoffs. I think our favourite was getting up at 4:30 in the morning to go to the airport, dropping by McDonalds at 6:00am and then watching a mov
