Ever since I was a little girl I would go up to strangers and ask them "do you know that Jesus loves you?" So my Mum always thought I would be a missionary...and here I am at Reef to Outback a full-time volunteer/missionary. It took me a while to get to this place but I would not want it any other way...I have been back walking with the Lord for five and a half years now. It has been a hard journey towards healing and restoration but so worth it all.
My life is like that of a butterfly...at the start it was an ugly caterpillar fighting for life trying to hide from those who were out to devour it. Then it goes into the cacoon stage of its life which for me was when I gave my life to the Lord. In that time you are shedding off your old ways and breaking down walls you have built up your whole life. It's a time of struggling and a time of hardships but as you finally let go of the old you, you start to break out of the cacoon to strengthen your wings...slowly one wing at a time and the process can be so painful...but once you have completely been set free of the past and all the lies you once believed, you are finally FREE TO FLY as a BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY!!
It's been a real long time since I could say I am truly happy...I have tried all the things this world has to offer and only found more emptiness. When I gave my life to God I found happiness and a love that I have never known!! I HAVE FOUND THE ONE MY HEART LOVES!!
Jesus Christ gave His life to die for my sins and He loves me deeper than any one else could ever love me...He has healed my heart and my soul and has given me a reason to live!! I love Him more and more each day as He continues to sweep me off my feet!! Love is such a beautiful thing...
1Corinthians 13:4-8 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS."
I would love to tell you about the journey I have been on the last five and a half years of my life...my life is an open book...there are many things that I have done that I am not proud of...some very hard things that I have been through that have left me very scared...I have made it through the hurt and the pain and I am stronger because of all these things...Love was always meant to be a beautiful thing but this world has changed it into an ugly thing that many do not believe in any more...I want to bring light into this area...just like I want to bring light into what real beauty is...there is so much more to a person than what’s on the outside....real beauty comes from within...my life is beautifully broken and I would not want it any other way!! Psalm 30 describes what God has done in my life and I will give thanks to Him forever!!

tax receipt for donations
You do not need to fill out any forms to be able to donate or to receive a tax receipt, you can just mail in a cheque and YWAM Vancouver will process it for us both. The only way you would need to fill out something is if you want to set up automatic monthly withdrawals from your bank account. If this interests you please email me and I will forward you the forms. (Canadian bank accounts only).
