Bam sits on a stool, surrounded by the twelve of us and smiles brightly. She stops only to talk and jumps from her seat frequently to keep us hydrated. More Coke? She asks. Her job is to make sure we are comfortable. Satisfied. Well taken care of. For the moment, we are her customers.

We look a little different to her traditional customers. First of all, we are there to get to know her and not to get from her. Also, five of us are white women and the men on our team are not… Continue

Yeah, Stephen and Nick both had input on it. I don't know if we need a splash page, but I think our entry point for visitors should be simpler, at the least.

Hmm, I think the cutouts are alright... cut outs was really trendy in 2008 web design, and seems to be carrying over to this year. Pastel colors are definitely still in as far as web sites go. I took a look at the Muizenberg site, I think it's pr...

I love the way Markus is so 'to the point' with things. :) I agree with Aaron that the Darwin home page is great. I think the YWAM Muizenberg (south africa) site is a really great example as well. http://www.ywammuizenberg.org I also agree with M...

Try using a different browser, maybe? Firefox, Opera, and Safari all have the same web standards, but internet explorer does things it's own way.

hahaha. i just wish it would have captured a more memorable place in time. like catching someone doing something embarrassing. THAT would have been awesome.
it would be like someone picking their nose or something for all of eternity

No, it's not contagious. It is caused from walking and driving long distances with your head turned to one side. The eye that is not able to look forward slowly deteriates and grows smaller while the other eye compensates for this by growing larger. It has its advantages even though it seems quite debilitating (my weak eye is mostly blind but the big one can now see through walls) However blinking takes twice as long and uses up far too much of my day so I personally don't recommend anyone deliberately try to foster this condition (you can find out more about it if you google
"stupidicuscranius syndrome"). I can see by your church video thumbnails that you are starting to develope mild symptoms of this syndrome. To reverse this I suggest from now on you look straight ahead when driving or walking. The symptoms should'nt take long to subside once normal travelling habits are reestablished however you must start this process immediately to avoid irreversable damage. Unfortunately in my case I am now permanently disfigured so every time you see me from now on I will look like this, particularly if you only see me through this website. Peace.

Dang it, Nick, I read your entire newsletter, exhausting as it was, and you can't even read my prophet 'word of the Lord.' I mean, so much for you being 'deliberate.' However, i still want to write and affirm you. I affirm you...

Nick-
Glad you found the tools useful. You can really make your own grill with some cinderblocks and some heavy grates. I'll e-mail Sara with detailed instructions.
Take care of my girl!
