Hey Joho! I'm heading down to the Sunny Coast tomorrow! Hopefully there won't be delays due to the hurricane. God's been good so far in getting me down there so I'm sure he'll get me there safe and sound.

How are things going in Isa? I sure do miss Beverly Lane, and the kids, and you guys! I'm praying for you guys, really. Not just in the polite christian sense but Mt. Isa and your efforts there will always be in my heart. Love ya man!

Hey! Yeah, I'm ready. It's sad also. I am going to miss my school. But I'm staying! Did you hear? I'm just not going home after graduation. I start my internship in April! I'll going to Palm Island again with Lindsey for a few weeks and then starting April. Isn't that insane? Anyway, I hope you guys are great. Miss you all!

Hey, I'm missing the Isa. Even though I was sick the whole time there. Hey whats the news on the auction?? We've all been wondering about it. Well graduation is tomorrow at 11. They're going to stream it on the website. I still can't believe it that we're done. No more lectures, we graduate in less then 12 hours and then I'm off to Alaska for a while and then back here for more. It's been quiet the crazy journey that God has had me on the past 5 and a half months, but it's been so worth it.

Me too! :)
I do want to go back to NY. I'm just not certain of what God has planned for me. I thought I was and I ended up in Mt Isa so really, anything could happen!
Would like to be involved with you guys on some level while I'm here anyway. How long have you been here? And what on earth brought you to Mt Isa?

Hey Johannes! Thanks for that update!! That is awesome to hear what all is going on there! I was on the July 2006 DTS, so I was in Townsville for IWT. :)
What ages of kids are you working with? God has called me to inner city children's ministry.. and I have been playing around with thoughts about doing that at some point in Mt. Isa. Right now though I am finishing up my last semester of uni, studying Bible and Missions. I am a leader for an inner city kids club (ages 4-13) that meets on Friday nights. I think of it as training/preparing me for what God has planned for me in the future. That's why I am interested in what you guys have going with kids in the Isa.
Saturday Night Live sounds like it would be pretty cool.... During my outreach team's 3 weeks in the Isa we went to Jack's 3 nights every week, so a total of 9 nights... During those 9 nights that we were there we never once saw a fight happen. It was almost difficult for me to believe what everyone was saying about fights happening there every night!
It really does sound like God is doing a lot in the Isa! That is so wonderful to hear!! :)

Hey! What do you mean by Saturday Night Live there?? I would love to hear about whats going on at Jack's these days! As far as that goes I would also love to hear about what's going on with other things in Mt. Isa.. I loved the time that I spent in Mt. Isa in 2006. It was so strange, I went into Mt. Isa not really knowing what to expect and somewhat scared because it had opened my eyes to a lot of new things, and then by the end of my 3 weeks there it was my favorite place in Australia!

Xmas was great! Good luck with your flights! Apparently Mt. Isa flooded this weekend. I wonder how your property went.
