- Well I'm 100% Alaskan grown, and I love it there. I did my DTS in October of 2008 and joined staff in July of 09. I have many passions in life; discipleship, the water, the kitchen, music and art. Everyday I wake up and realize what an amazing God we have. How awesome of a chance I get to praise Him and live my life for His purpose. I dearly miss home but one thing that I've learned since leaving is that home is really where you make it. Whether it be in Alaska or Australia, taking the time to invest in where I am.
