Wadeye, Palumpa, Beswick, Katherine and of corse Darwin.....what a busy few weeks!!

We have been kept on our toes over the past few weeks, and spent quite a few hours in the Oka as well getting from town to town!! Here are some snippets of what we have done in the places we have been.......

Wadeye was our first port of call, a small indigenous community about 7 hours drive from Darwin, 4 of those hours down a dirt track...we did get pulled over by the community police as they had never seen a vehicle like ours out that way and wanted to make sure we weren't lost!!! Let's Hear from the Students....

Mt Isa? Fun? Oh Yea! I've has such an awesome time sharing the gospel, hanging out with kids, playing sports, sharing testimonies & praying in schools. This morning at church I had the opportunity to share what God has been doing in my life. I was pumped! The other day when I was at the skate park for Youth Street skate team, one of the local teens rode up on his bike and just sat watching everyone. I decided to initiate conversation and told him who we were, what we do and why we do it. He was interested to hear about God, so when someone interrupted, he quickly answered them and said “keep going”. It was awesome to share a little of who Christ is and see his excitement!! - Caleb Kaufman (USA)

In the last couple of weeks being in Mt Isa, I know that God has been working. I have personally been drawn to the older indigenous gals. I get to see 3 particular gals around 3 times a week, sometimes more. We hang out together and talk about God. I love seeing God work through me to speak to these gals. I know God has a passion and plan for them. I love sharing what God things about them with them.
I know that this may be raising a passion that is in me. A step that God is leading me to do. This has been a real growing time for be and God has been showing his faithfulness abundantly to all of us. - Becka Walsh (Australia)

I just find it so uplifting to see God work in the hearts of all these kids out here. Just being here for 2 weeks you can not deny God's hand is in this place. Every time we do a Religious Education class, more kids ask about Youth Street and what else they can join in with us. More ask questions about God, which is awesome. Kids hear testimonies of us being healed and they are blown away saying things such as “I thought that only happened in the Bible!!”
There is such a thirst in this town. To see kids run up the your van when you pull up into their neighbourhood is really humbling. Every second you spend with these kids is worth it because that is time they are not on the streets or in situations they should not be in.
God is working here and I have no doubt great things are in store for this place and I am excited to see them happen! - Trey Russell (USA)

Hi Helen,
Could you contact Krista for me and ask her if she needs me to send her any clothes? What kind of clothes and what size? And if she needs any hair products like the gel she uses if she can tell me what kind that is? And anything else she can think of. Thank you so very much for letting me know that. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS! PRAYING EVERY DAY!!!

Helen, I forgot to tell you that as of today which is Monday, June 15th,. Krista's sister (Lisha) has not yet had the baby. Her due date was yesterday so we are praying Isaiah will come soon! My sister is doing better but still needs lots of prayer for complete healing of her liver.
I believe God hears our prayers and will bring her healing in Jesus name! Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers!!!

Our town is not that small but perhaps Krista means the Chiropractor's office where she works have all heard about you and then others she's talked to. Its a little lonely and quiet here at the house without Krista but I would not trade that for the experience God is giving her to be there with you all. Yeh, Krista told me the camping was coming up and I'll be praying alot then because I trust you will all be safe! I have not seen any pictures of camping so I don't really know what to picture it to be like. In JESUS LOVE!!!

Hi Helen,
Your name sounds familiar and maybe Krista talked to you at some point before she came to Australia. I know that every time she has talked to somebody through email or phone before she got there that your encouraging words were SO UPLIFTING! All of you have so much JOY and we are noticing that with Krista, too, as she keeps in touch with us! I LOVE to hear how God works in her walk and in everybody's walk! God surely does work in mysterious ways!!!
God BLESS YOU and USE you for His glory in Jesus name!!!
