About Me:
for me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
this is what I believe and my desire is to bring glory to my God.

i like the simple life, being outdoors in awe of God's creation. one day i hope to live in India. i'm a missionary with YWAM and i'm the happiest when i'm running barefoot in slums loving on kids. i'm always up for doing something crazy and anything that includes the word adventure.

thunderstorms are pretty much my favorite thing in the world. i really enjoy deep meaningful talks with people. i like staying up late just because. taking walks in the rain. stargazing. my bible. playgrounds. other cultures. road trips. coffee. tea. photography. maps. books. i love traveling and one of my goals is to visit every continent. oh, and i want to ride an elephant in Sri Lanka.

How It Took Twelve Hours To Get To The Campsite That Was Only Two Hours Away...

My friend Krystal has an 8 seater van we planned on taking up to the campsite for the weekend to join our DTS that was camping for two weeks. Saturday morning Krystal's van had a check up and they thought it had a blown headgasket. So no taking that van anywhere. We didn't have other vehicles so we figured we just weren't going. We commenced with our normal Saturday Youth Street program which ends at about 10:30pm… Continue

The Spirit soars sweetly like a dove

Healing hearts with faith, hope and love

Anointing oil's for the loyal

Love and life live in the Lord, our Savior

Graceful judgement. the year of His favor

Today. Trust and obey

Faithfully follow the straight narrow way

New Years in Papua New Guinea!!!

'Twas the night after Christmas and all through the base, our team of 10 health care workers made haste... we drove 5 hours to Cairns, Aus and then flew to Port Moresby, PNG where we applied for our visas on site. We were granted not only the typical 30 day, but a 60 day visa meaning we won't have to buy another one on the way back through. Piling on top of each other in a van my first thought was "i stepped into a book." It seemed so unreal.

But the adventures had hardly begun... this weekend… Continue

God’s cool! - what more is there to say

i'm leaving for indonesia/papua tomorrow morning. in the last 2 weeks i've seen about $4000 be provided to pay for my trip. the indonesian embassy decided we didn't give them enough time for visas so they kept our passports longer than we expected and even thought the embassy was closed for holidays we got our passports flown up to us and got them back last night. i love God, i love how faithful He is, i love what He's called me to do with my life, and i love my team thats here with me.

Back Where I Belong... (IPHC week one)

Well, here I am back at the base for IPHC, loving every minute of it. I'm so excited to be part of this health care school with eight other students and our amazing leader Hannah. It's going to be good. I sense God has an incredible amount of stuff to teach me in this time, at times it may be a challenge, but I'm always up for an adventure so bring it on!

I've learned so much already in this week about God's heart for the poor, mercy ministries, hospitality and how to take vital signs (blood pr… Continue
