Well…umm…where to begin…
I don’t like these about me blogs, I never know what to write.
Umm… I live on the Gold Coast and am currently in year 11 (2008). I can’t wait to finish school even though I have no idea what I want to do as a career. I trust that the lord will guide me!!!
I love to cook and especially love to eat the food (don’t so much like washing up :D)
I love to be outside and socialise with friends. Things I especially enjoy, are go on rollercoaster’s, rock climbing, ice skating, hiking, dounuting, outdoor lazar skirmish etc but I very rarely get the chance.
My ‘hobbies’ (don’t really have specific hobby) are art, dance, soccer and I enjoy long distant running.
I became a Christian when I was just 7 years old, however, only recently has the lord really challenged me and laid many things on my heart. I have for many years turned my back on the lord, talk the talk but never really walk the walk. I am so thankful to say that the lord is working in my life and I know seek the lord everyday and can’t imagine life without Christ!!!
I have always felt the lord has made me to be social, outgoing and confident to use me in missions. One thing the lord has always laid on my heart is to reach out to those who are in need.
I have a passion to serve the lord and I believe that the greatest way I personally can do so is by using the gifts he has blessed me with, to reach out to others.
At present the lords working greatly within my youth group, as many youth have asked the lord into their heart. People becoming Christians excites me and reminds me that our ultimate purpose on this earth is to bring others to Christ!!! WOW
I believe at the moment in a small way I am involved in missions/ministry as I am a kids church leader, I teach a 6-8 yrs bible study and am every day on a mission as I go to a very large (2000 students yrs8-12) non-religious public school.
At the moment I have to finish school, but I can’t wait to get involved in long-term missions once I have graduated.
Thank-you Jessica (Murray :D) for letting me know about reef to outback, DTS… etc
Anyways wow I wrote so much soz if bored you :D
