YWAM (why-wham) is a diverse, global, Christian youth-focussed movement from many nations, backgrounds, ages and cultures; sharing their faith through meeting practical, spiritual and phsyicaly needs, offering training in more than 800 courses and seminars for service in all spheres of society. YWAM currently operates in over 1000 locations and 149 countries, with over 16,000 staff.
Since 1996, YWAM Reef to Outback (located in Townsville, Australia) has maintained a reputation of excellence in helping thousands of young people in Australia, Asia and the South Pacific with a number of focuses:

Our heartbeat is helping young people and with over 72,000 young people in North Queensland alone, we’ve got our work cut out for us! While today’s youth are facing incredible challenges, they are also equipped with the most amazing resources and we believe they have a part to play in the world.
We’ve reached out all over Australia, into Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Indonesia, Irian Jaya, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and more!
