YWAM - Australia Reef to Outback

Hi! You've probably noticed by now that our website has a new face, and some of the pages around the website are also getting a face-lift.

Any suggestions would certainly be welcome!

I like the changes, I think maybe it would look cool for the menu that is in between the header and the 8 options to be spaced so that they align with what you see on the front... just a thought... Even if we gave it a more appealing font?? or you could be cheeky and get rid of it entirely...

I agree with the last point on this one ahah

Thanks for your replies, friends. We wanted it to line up with the menu after you go through the "portal" buttons, or do you think that matters?

You guys have come so far with it it's incredible.. I'm reading over comments made like 5 months ago, and now it's up and a reality,, love the landing page. It's a process, it's getting organized better each time.. looking great. I like how your trying to engage people on the "outside" world , external. Keep that as a focus,, as a ministry to others who might be looking for some answers somewere? Reaching the lost. Cause you have the Good News,, right?? well, like I said really like the landing page. I was reading over the comments and I came by one that I found very interesting.. one about prayer request and having a place for those.. you know thats a practical application right there as well.. thinking outside the box I guess.. again, well good job..

ok now that I've seen it, and it's come so far,, read over some of the other comments,, I think the thing I'm seeing is that it's becoming more and more organized .. so the menu bar in some cases is becoming more and more uneeded (kinda what it seems like)? Not quite sure your at that point yet, something tells me you might still need it for something? But headed in that direction. I will say,, I know I needed to go to the home page to see what was all going on, so I clicked on home, but I also later saw the online community option and I think it takes me to , yeah it takes me to the same place.. I really like how it's organized and like the information easy to run through, but still getting to the community might need to be highlighted in some way cause it's the last option, and heck if I'm going to look through all 8 of em if you know what I mean ;) comes down to priorities..I think the online community social networking is a really neat feature, actually it's a lot of work, and it needs it's own special emphasis in my opinion.. well thats my 2 cents,, do what you may.. awsome job so far..

Forums are probably the best place we could have for prayer requests, I believe we're able to only show certain forums to registered members...

Hey Jeff, thanks for your feedback :)

I'm directly involved in the management of the site, now, and am doing most of the backend kind of work, and Justin is doing most of the design aspects. He's pretty good at it :)

I'm definitely looking at streamlining a lot more of the site, speeding it up, and making it over all a much nicer experience for the end user. I'll take any suggestions you have... in here or on my profile page is great :)
